STARBAKER
Cafeteria business was initially managed and operated by Polar Avenue Sdn. Bhd.
for a few years before it was taken over by Holistic Touch Sdn. Bhd.
officially on May 1, 2007. The concept of Starbaker was first set
out by the Director of Polar Avenue and the business was operated at Nilai International
College. The business did not flourish as the strategic directions were not
fully implemented and controlled until Holistic Touch took over the
helmsmanship, rebuilds its identity and install an orderly operating
system to the business.
Holistic Touch Sdn.Bhd. was established in May
13, 2005 to managed holistic concepts in education related to allied
health science and holistic health practice from
IHTI.
The Starbaker at Nilai International College was very conducive to
holistic realization of holistic health ideals being itself situated in
a resort-like college where the greens and concretes strike a harmonious
balance, hence leading to the essence interest of the directors to
takeover the business operations.
Prior to takeover, its sales has fallen
to about RM600.00 per day but after a month of takeover, its sale rises
to a staggering RM2,500 per day, and to the amazement of general
projection. However,
business shows signs of minor decline due to decreasing enrolment and
change in consumer behavior of the new students.
